Judging Criteria

An independent group of judges offer their time and valuable expertise.
They seek to be inclusive and recognise creativity.
No film will be disadvantaged, but will be judged on its strengths and merits.

Their decisions will be based on:

  • Originality of script.

  • Use of a variety of camera angles.

  • Quality of editing and continuity.

  • Smoothness of animation.

  • Appropriate use of music/soundtrack/sound effects.

  • Quality of script.

  • Quality of performances in live action films.

  • Quality of costumes/props/models/artwork/sets.

  • Appropriate use of special effects.

  • Overall entertainment/interest of film.
